Samsung in an event in New York, launched their next Note smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8. Ever since the Note 7 became a sad story, people are eagerly waiting for this one.
Samsung would have strived hard to regain their lost reputation of Note lineup. Let’s have a look at the features of the Note 8 here.1
Samsung Galaxy Note 8; Specs, Price, and Release Date
You can buy the Note 8 in different colors including Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey, and Deep Sea Blue. The Note series is known for its big display. It isn’t any different this year too. The Note 8 sports a 6.3-inch QHD AMOLED display. On the first impression, the smartphone looks like a bigger sister of the S8+.
Underneath the hood, they have opted for the Snapdragon 835 flagship processor. You might get Exynos octa-core chipset depending on the market you are in. And, you get 6 GB RAM along with 64 GB internal storage. You can increase the storage up to 256 GB with an SD card.

The main highlight of Note 8 is its rear camera (or should I say cameras?). Note 8 steals the feat of being the very first Samsung phone with a dual rear camera setup. Both the cameras sport a 12 MP sensor and support optical image stabilization.
The Note 8 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is unclear of when the company releases the Oreo update.
Of course, it has the signature S-Pen, which supports off-screen memos. Both the phone and the S-Pen are IP68 water resistant. The best thing about S-Pen is you can scribble something, make it a GIF, and send to anyone you want via major social networking applications.
The phone is available for pre-orders in selected markets from Thursday (priced at $960 in the US). If you pre-order, you will stand a chance to win a Gear 360 camera or a charging bundle at zero price. The company is going to ship the device from September 15 only.
