The Nokia 3 smartphone officially went on sale on 16th June in India. However, the company cleared that this is an offline exclusive phone and won’t be available online.
Nokia 3 along with Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 were recently launched in an event conducted by HMD global on July 13. At the time of launch, the company said that Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 would be offline exclusive smartphones. And, Nokia 6 will be an online exclusive and will be available on Amazon.in by the end of July. Pre-booking has started already.
HMD Global wanted all the phones to be available in India in June itself. However, the official sale has been delayed to July due to pricing issues. In July, GST will come into action with a tax slab of around 12% on mobile phones, thereby reducing the price.
But, that’s not the case now. The smartphone was recently spotted on sale over Chroma’s official website with a price tag of Rs 9,499 which is a discounted price against the original cost of Rs 10,299.
The delivery is available in all major cities. The delivery time, however, will vary from city to city. You can even book the phone online and pick it up from selected nearby stores within 2 hours. You check the Chroma website for the same. Cash on delivery is available as a payment mode. You can purchase it on EMI too and pay later conveniently. You can expect the smartphone to be listed in other major online retailers in next few days.
Although its competitors have much more to offer in the same price range, Nokia is a reliable brand in itself. With a solid build quality and decent hardware, the one is worth buying. Good old Nokia fans won’t resist grabbing this one or the other two.
