Furthermore, Reliance is said to have already placed an order for the handsets in bulk quantity of about 18-20 million units with Chinese vendors. The phone will target the feature phone market, which has been out of reach for the company due to the prohibitory prices of smartphones. It will help the company to grow its user base and accommodate economically deprived class as well. They can then enjoy the access of internet and use it for their welfare.
The services are going to remain extremely affordable even after Jio’s Summer Surprise, and Dhan Dhana Dhan offers. One of the highlights of the new tariff plans is the Rs. 399 pack which gives 1GB/data every day for 84 days along with unlimited calls.
