Dual camera setup has become a trending feature on the smartphone that even the lower mid-range devices have started coming up with it. Coolpad announced their new smartphone Cool Play 6 for India at an event happened in Dubai.
The smartphone, Cool Play 6 is a successor to their device Cool 1, which people appreciated for the camera and battery life. They have brought some impressive features again this time.
Coolpad Cool Play 6 with Dual Cameras Launched in India
Coolpad aims at taking down the monopoly of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Anyone can tell the same looking at the price of their new smartphone. The Cool Play 6 is priced at Rs. 14,999.
The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD display. It has significant bezels on the top and the bottom. But more than that, the black border all around the screen might bother you as a user.
Coolpad has included Snapdragon 653 processor clocked at 1.95 GHz coupled with 6 GB of RAM inside their new offering. You will get 64 GB internal storage and an option to expand it using an external SD card given it has a hybrid SIM slot (you can use either two SIM cars or a SIM and a micro SD).
Cool Play 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Nevertheless, the company promises 8.0 update by the end of this year.
The highlight of this smartphone here is its dual camera setup. On the back, it sports two 13 MP sensors with f/2.0 aperture supporting 4K video recording and HDR. The selfie camera has an 8-megapixel sensor.
A 4000 mAh battery powers up the device. And, the company claims the phone can deliver extra 500 mAh capacity due to the software optimizations they applied.
